![]() formless flow yoga-I study the ebb and flow of the mind and body as it responds to the ebb and flow of daily life. She believes our seasons, temperatures, times, foods and environmental factors affect the system. She does her best to take the temperature of the group as a whole and allow for organic yoga to present itself. sometimes we ebb, and sometimes we flow! She draws freely from her experiences but mostly, she gets present to the group of bodies in front of her. together, we become brush strokes on the canvas of our mats. We find the spectrum of our souls and express newly-discovered palettes. students take their new colors off the mat and into the world....making it.....a brighter place to BE! Her classes run Tues. Thursday 8:15am-9:30/Mon. 5:30pm-7/Sat.2:30-4pm e-mail dot@dotdowney.com dot downey |

Andrea has been
a yoga teacher and Feng Shui consultant since fall of 2000. She specializes
in exploring the ways that energy (prana/ch'i) moves, both in our bodies and
in our homes. Andrea teaches Yoga
in a vinyasa (flow) style — a dynamic moving meditation that employs
breath as the foundation and focus. Her students benefit from increased strength,
balance and tone, as well as improved concentration, stress relief and heightened
self-awareness. Andrea's Kripalu Yoga
training informs her compassion-centered teaching and practice. She encourages
students to discover their "edge," to become aware of their physical
and emotional reactions to sensation, and to transform their old patterns
with new breath. The result is a powerful practice for the body and spirit
— one that deeply impacts life both on and off the yoga mat.
